Blockbuster In-House Tournament!

Hi All...

After our successful Bake-off competition last Saturday night, many members have been asking what we have planned to assist in counteracting all those calories gained from munching on the incredibly delicious array of baking?

To this end we propose running a BLOCKBUSTER IN-HOUSE TOURNAMENT on Sat 24 Feb.

The proposed start time is 7 pm (subject to Badminton Ireland leaving courts free!)

So what's the Format?

• Two teams – Team captains to name their teams! (Georgie and I will allocate people fairly to each team)

• There will be ladies doubles, mens doubles and mixed doubles

• Everyone will get same number of games

• After each game you give in your score.

• Scores will be added. No setting-first to 21!

• The Team with highest number of points at the end of the evening wins!

Numbers of entrants will determine start time but probably likely to be around 7 pm. (Subject to Baldoyle Centre confirmation – Badminton Ireland Graded Open Event on during day)

Nothing like a little bit of healthy competition. Cost likely to be circa €12 but will depend on numbers

We will retire to the Bar for supper and post mortem!
