League & Cup Fixtures to be Announced Soon!

So, the League & Cup will be upon us very soon and if you've declared for any of Baldoyle District BC teams (Men's/Mixed/Ladies) this should be of interest to you.

A lot of behind-the-scenes work goes into meeting/arranging/agreeing dates and times for all your seasons games in both the League and Cup. This work is carried out by our dedicated match secretaries on your behalf and we thank them for all their hard work and negotiation skills.

So here's a peak at what happens this year....

• The meeting takes place at 7 p.m. on Monday 9th October in Whitehall Rd.

• All clubs attend and assemble in "the fridge" at their designated spots/tables.

• Representatives from each club meet to arrange home and away fixtures for all matches between teams from each club who are due to play each other in the league/cup.

• Once they've all been agreed we move on to arrange matches with a different club and so on and so forth.

• Once all games have been arranged for all Baldoyle District teams the meeting comes to an end.

• All matches are then entered on to a master fixture list.

• At this point we can see if any clashes have occurred and we have 2 weeks to rearrange these clashes before submitting the final list to the Dublin District Leagues & Cups (DDLC).

Once the DDLC have agreed our match dates list, the club will publish your specific League and Cup fixtures on your team page on the club website.
